Shipping & Returns

Return Policy

 

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery date for a refund minus original shipping charges. Please notify us by email before returning an order. The client is responsible for returning the order (shipping charges) in their original packaging without damage. Custom orders are non-refundable. Items are inspected on delivery before refunds are issued.

 

You should receive refunds within four weeks of giving your package to return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 days), the time it takes us to process your refund once we receive it (3 to 5 days), and the time it takes your bank to process your refund request (5 to 10 days).

 

If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return the items.

 

Shipping

 

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. We use different providers, such as USPS, FEDEX and UPS. We insure larger products and require signatures in most cases. This is to make sure that the product arrives to the right person. If you need your order to be left at a door, you will need to contact us (yanceydesigns@gmail.com) within 24 hours of placing the order. Once an order leaves our hands and the shipping provider has it, we can no longer make changes. Please check your address twice to make sure it goes to the right address.

 

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates based on the availability of the items and the shipping options. Depending on the shipping provider, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on it's detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound. Larger items that will ship in an over sized box may be charged extra by shipping providers.

Last, these are "estimated" delivery dates and not all providers guarantee delivery on that date. Always allow a little extra time for delivery (Murphys Law)

 

Damaged

 

Inform us by email, yanceydesigns@gmail.com, within 10 days of the providers delivery date to report damages.  Pictures will be needed of boxes and products that have arrived damaged. This is for the purpose of reporting shipping damage claims. Some providers may require you to hold on to these boxes so they may check them at their convenience. For this reason damages have to be reported to us in a short time span. If orders are reported any later they may not be accepted, so please check your packages when they arrive.

 

Wrong Product

If you receive the wrong product, we're sorry accidents do occasionally happen. We will make it right. Wrong orders should be reported as quickly as possible.  We will not accept claims past 15 days from shipping providers delivery date.

 

Package hasn't arrived, but says "Delivered"

 

If it's past the date of your expected arrival and you haven't seen your package yet and the provider says "Delivered", please follow these steps before contacting us

  1. Sometimes small packages get pushed to the back of your mailbox, please check your mailbox thoroughly. This is done occasionally by USPS.
  2. Check with your local Post Office, UPS or FEDEX (the shipping provider that your order was sent out to). Sometimes addresses are registered and the provider may not be able to find your house, etc.
  3. Ask family members, roommates, etc that live in the house with you. Sometimes someone else may pick up a package and forget about it.

If this doesn't work, please contact us by email (yanceydesigns@gmail.com).  We will look into this for you. We will remake an order and file a claim with the shipping provider if it looks like the item has been lost.
